ABOUT THE CHEF

executive chef scott grewe got his start cooking at age 14 in his hometown of sarasota, florida. he attended culinary school in west palm beach. since then he has worked at some of new york city's best restaurants, including jean-georges and charlie palmer's aureole. scott's many years of experience in renowned fine dining restaurants led him to become executive chef at sutton inn. since opening in november of 2014 sutton inn has earned three open table diner's choice awards for best american restaurant in manhattan. sutton inn has received the 2017 michelin guide recommended rating.  


NO TIPS ACCEPTED

all the team members of sutton inn are motivated to do their best work regardless of tips, just like employees of most other industries. the no tipping policy creates teamwork and allows servers to enjoy the same dynamic that other professional environments offer.
